In 1988, Dongfang Automobile Company introduced Nissan's body production technology, involving more than 10 new types of adhesive sealants that have not been used in China. Dongfeng Motor Corporation and the Beijing Aeronautical Materials Research Institute's Aerospace Department Xiangfan 42 Research Institute and other research units have realized the localization of the adhesive sealant required for the introduction of the model, meeting the production needs of the new model. At the same time, the models introduced by Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW Volkswagen, Tianjin Xiali, Beijing Cherokee, and Iveco from the south also raised the demand for development and application of automotive rubber. During this period, the development and application of automotive adhesive sealant products in China began to enter a rapid growth period.

    In the 1990s: With the rapid development of China's automobile industry, new requirements were put forward for the automotive adhesive sealant industry and opportunities for development were brought. In addition, the development of the rubber coating equipment required by the domestic related industries for the automotive industry is still far behind the development of automotive adhesives, which restricts the excellent promotion and application and good performance experience to some extent.
